The ATTC would like to remind all Cub Scout Committee Members and Den Leaders of the last chance to take face-to-face leader-specific training in 2012. To be a trained Cub Scout leader, no matter what the position, you simple need to have Youth Protection Training, and the leader-specific training for your current position. If you have questions about this, contact Eric Ashbaugh at the email below. Please note that the official record may show you as a Bear Den Leader (example) because that is what you were re-chartered as last January, but in actuality, you are now a Webelos Den Leader as of June. Please take the training for the position you hold (Webelos in this case), not the position on record. The official record will become up to date in January when we all recharter. Committee Member/Chair Person training will be held at the Roundtable from 6:30-7:45. All Den Leader position training will be help at the Roundtable from 7:45-9:00. Cost is $5, please register by emailing Eric Ashbaugh @ Eric.Ashbaugh@gmail.com and specify the position for your training. All Cub Leaders, please note, while this event is the last planned Face-to-Face training, the ATTC is willing to visit your unit to train your leaders if you have a large number of untrained leaders. Just send an email to Eric so we can set something up. And, ALL the above training is online at myscouting.org. If you can not attend a face-to-face training session, please complete the training online before the end of the year. Remember, Every Scout Deserves A Trained Leader.
