The Chesapeake District’s Life to Eagle seminar is great place for Life Scouts who have any ambitions of becoming an Eagle Scout to get a full understanding of what is required of them.  The seminar will cover the Eagle Scout rank requirements, service project, project write-up and board of review issues.  There will also be opportunities for the scout to ask questions. We will also be going over the new workbook.

 

Please bring pen & paper and any questions that you may have to the seminar.

Chesapeake District 2014 Recognition Picnic

 


When: Monday, June 9th – Gathering 6:00, Dinner & Program 6:30

Where: Zion United Church of Christ, 7140 Golden Ring Road, Essex, MD

Who: All Volunteers of the Chesapeake District (That’s YOU!!!) and your family, and 2013 Eagle Scouts and Venture Silver Receipiants!!

How Much: $5.00 per person, Scouters and families are welcome!!

 

This is a Pitch-in.  The District will supply the entrée (hamburgers, hotdogs, buns…) and the Cake!

Dutch Ovens are welcome!!  We will set up an area for them! 

This will be a contest for best Dutch Oven Cook, Please Contact John Heuchan 443-983-1161, to say what you are cooking and we will post on the web.  Please bring what you need.  If you have a Dutch Oven Cooking Table please bring it.  

 

We are asking attendees to sign up to bring: Salad, Vegetables, Chips, etc.

Sign-ups will be taken at the time of Ticket purchase.

 

Please come and celebrate the accomplishments of your Pack, Troop or Crew over the past year. We want to thank you for all that you do!

 

Planned recognitions include:

  • Recognition of Scoutmasters, Cubmasters and Crew Advisors
  • 2013 Eagle Scouts & Venture Silver Receipiants from our District
  • Unit Unsung Hero Awards
  • District Spark Plug Awards

The Chesapeake Distrcit Committee is hold a District Committee Training.

Come see how your ditrict commitee should work for you.

Merit Badge Counselor List/STEM Nova and Super Nova Mentor List

 

The Chesapeake District has converted all of the Merit Badge Counselors over to the website for easy access for all the units and to allow the list to be kept up to date. 

We will be contacting unit for logins and passwords for those that will need them. 

Please remember that this contains information the should not be public and the login and password are not to be distributed throughout a unit.  Please treat this information as you would your own.
